The Limpopo Provincial Government has announced passing on of Mrs. Maggie Mathabatha, the
wife of Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha.

After a brief illness, Mrs. Maggie Mathabatha, who had served as the patron of the Limpopo the First
Lady Trust since 2013, passed away this morning.

The family, friends, and the people of Limpopo will always remember Mma Mathabatha for her
enormous commitment to the socioeconomic advancement of the underprivileged. Mrs.
Mathabatha was able to gather funds through the Limpopo First Lady Trust, which led to the
successful construction of homes for low-income families as well as the distribution of wheelchairs
and food hampers.
Details regarding funeral arrangements will be announced once the family has finalised them.
