Demi Lovato, a nonbinary singer, stated why she changed her pronouns back to “she” and “her” after
preferring to be addressed as “they” and “them.” She stated that it is critical to understand that no one
is flawless, and that everyone makes mistakes with pronouns, especially when they are learning.
Respect is the only thing that matters.

She said that she constantly had to teach people and tell them why she’s identified with “them” and
“they”, that was tiring, hence she saw it was important to let people know about her changing back to
“she” and “her”.
