Security Officer Shot During Hazyview Mall Robbery

A security officer was shot and injured during an armed robbery at a shopping mall in Hazyview yesterday, Saturday.

The officer had reportedly just collected cash from one of the shops when he was confronted by armed suspects. He was shot during the incident, and the suspects fled with the money.

Police confirmed that no arrests have been made.

Investigators are appealing to anyone with information that could assist in identifying or locating the suspects to come forward.
