The spirit of giving lit up a local primary school in Bushbuckridge after the Miss Bushbuckridge beauty pageant organisation joined hands with the Sunbake DO MORE Foundation to donate school uniforms to needy pupils.

A total of 135 school shirts and 135 pairs of school socks were handed over during a special community outreach programme aimed at supporting vulnerable children in the area.

The donation was officially presented by representatives from Sunbake Bushbuckridge alongside Miss Bushbuckridge 2025/26 first runner-up, Fortunate Mogane, who took part in encouraging learners and promoting the importance of education.

Organisers said the initiative forms part of their ongoing mission of “Bathing, Clothing and Feeding a Child” through the Sunbake DO MORE Foundation partnership.

The organisation expressed gratitude to DO MORE FOUNDATION and Sunbake Bushbuckridge for making the successful give-back drive possible.

“We are honoured and grateful for the continued support in uplifting children from disadvantaged communities. Siyabonga,” the organisers said.
