Bushbuckridge SAPS have launched an urgent investigation following the disappearance of 52-year-old Mmika Johnson Mogakane. According to information released by the police, Mr Mogakane was last seen at Dwarsloop Mall on Thursday at approximately 15:00.

At the time he went missing, he was reportedly wearing a green and white Bloemfontein Celtics T-shirt, khaki chinos and blue-and-white sandals. Police further indicated that Mr Mogakane is mentally unstable and is a former SAPS member who previously worked at the Lebombo Port of Entry.

Authorities are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in locating him. Community members who may have seen Mr Mogakane or know of his whereabouts are urged to contact Detective Sergeant Paula Precious Magagula on 072 301 2969.
