The SAPS in Mpumalanga is actively searching for 61-year-old Mabanti Nimrod Mandlasi, who went missing from Masana Village in Bushbuckridge on October 28, 2024. Despite initial efforts by family and community members, Mandlasi remains unallocated.

On November 4, a combined team—including the K9 Unit, Visible Policing, Detectives, and the SAPS Search and Rescue team—was deployed to intensify the search. The SAPS reports that Mandlasi, known for his frequent hunting trips, has not been found in areas he typically visited.
