Tragedy struck in Limpopo on Wednesday evening as a 34-year-old businessman was
fatally shot outside his bar lounge in Muledane, Thohoyandou. The Limpopo police have
launched a manhunt and opened a case of murder and three counts of attempted
murder in connection with the brazen attack.

According to police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, the victim was standing
outside his establishment with three other individuals, including his brother, when
unknown gunmen driving a Mazda 3 opened fire in their direction around 6 pm.

While some managed to escape unharmed, the owner of the bar lounge unfortunately
succumbed to his injuries sustained in the ambush-style shooting.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear as investigations continue. Police are
appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or have any
information that could aid in apprehending the perpetrators to come forward.
