Bafana seek first final in 26 years

The South African national team, Bafana Bafana, are on the verge of reaching their first Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) final since 1998. They face a difficult semi-final clash with Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Wednesday night.

Bafana has been inspired by goalkeeper Ronwen Williams, whose outstanding performances have kept second-choice Veli Mothwa on the bench.

However, Mothwa has maintained a positive attitude, vocally supporting his teammates. Reaching the final would be a huge achievement for Bafana Bafana as they look to win their first Afcon title since 1996. The nation awaits the outcome with eager anticipation.
