February 2, 2024Fraudster Vanishes After Kruger Theft
The Hawks request public help finding a suspect who allegedly embezzled over
R897,000 from Kruger National Park before disappearing.
Amos Tineyi Kampinya, a 44-year-old Zimbabwean, managed the Mugg & Bean
restaurant inside Kruger when the theft occurred in July 2022. After stealing the
substantial company funds, Kampinya went missing from his Karino flat.
Major General Gerber of the Hawks urges anyone with information on Kampinya’s
location to contact Investigating Officer Captain Mandla Mphephethe in confidence. The
public’s assistance is critical to catch this fugitive fraudster.
Kampinya is wanted for questioning in the brazen workplace theft case. By fleeing, he
evades accountability for his alleged actions. The Hawks aim to find the suspect and
pursue charges for his crimes.
Community members who know Kampinya’s whereabouts should come forward. Justice
depends on such cooperation when economic offenders try to vanish. Do the right thing
and help return this suspect to face the law.
