On November 11, a bus and bakkie collided on the D2296 KaMagugu road close to the Mbombela Sewage Plant, resulting in two fatalities and two minor injuries.

According to the spokesperson for the Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Moeti Mmusi, the two deceased and the two injured were occupants of the bakkie.

“The injured were transported to Rob Ferreira Hospital.”

He said there were no fatalities or injuries among the bus commuters.
