The Sunbake Annual Tournament is creating excitement and unity in Bushbuckridge as it runs from 13 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 at the 11 Men Sports Ground in Mandela Village (606).

A total of 78 teams are taking part in the festive-season tournament, competing across six categories: Under-15, Under-19, Ladies Soccer, Open/Regular and Masters. The event has already drawn enthusiastic crowds, with families and football lovers gathering daily to enjoy quality football and a vibrant community atmosphere.

The tournament is hosted in partnership with Vodacom, Do More Foundation, Mageu Number 1, MGSN Project, Motlalepula Blessing Company, CIVENG Construction and the Joyce Nyalungu Foundation. Organisers say these partnerships reflect a shared vision of using sport to inspire, uplift and develop young people and the wider community.

Beyond football, the tournament carries a strong social message aligned with Sunbake’s “Grow What Matters” values. The Do More Foundation will share an important message on the role of fatherhood in early childhood development, while Sunbake continues to support initiatives aimed at reducing alcohol and drug abuse among the youth and strengthening community involvement.

Exciting prizes add to the competitive spirit, with winners in the Open/Regular division set to receive R30 000, an Adidas kit, a trophy and gold medals. The Masters, Ladies, Under-15 and Under-19 categories also offer attractive cash prizes, kits, medals and equipment, encouraging participation and rewarding talent at every level.
