Acornhoek United Held to Draw

Acornhoek United were held to a 1–1 draw in their away match against Zebras FC in Lydenburg over the weekend.

The visitors started brightly, opening the scoring in the 13th minute through Shaka Manzini, who finished neatly after a fine cross from right-back Tshepo Moagi. Despite several promising attacks, Acornhoek United was unable to extend its lead before the break.

Zebras FC fought back early in the second half, finding the equaliser in the 48th minute. Both teams continued to press for a winner, but the match ended level at 1–1.

Acornhoek United will now turn their focus to their next fixture, as they host Sibange Young Bucs this Saturday at the Acorn to Oaks Stadium. Supporters are encouraged to come out in numbers to back the home team.
