July 22, 2025Three-Year-Old Missing, Police Seek Help
Missing three-year-old Nkosingiphile Ntiwane was last seen on 20 July 2025 in Mshadza Trust, Masoyi.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Masoyi is urgently appealing to members of the public to assist in locating a missing three-year-old boy, Nkosingiphile Ndwane Ntiwane, who disappeared from his home in Mshadza Trust, Masoyi, on Saturday, 20 July 2025 at approximately 13:00.
According to the information received, Nkosingiphile was playing in the yard at his residence when his father noticed that he was no longer visible. After a brief search of the immediate area, the father called on neighbours and members of the community for assistance. Despite a coordinated search, the child could not be located.
Other emergency response stakeholders were summoned to the scene, and a search operation was initiated. However, at the time of reporting, the child remains missing.
At the time of his disappearance, Nkosingiphile was wearing a military-coloured jumpsuit and a peach-coloured jersey. He is deaf and mute, which has intensified concerns for his safety and well-being. His condition may limit his ability to respond to calls or navigate his surroundings, making the need to locate him both urgent and critical.
The police are appealing to anyone who may have seen Nkosingiphile or has information that could assist in reuniting him with his family to come forward. Every detail, no matter how small, could make a difference in locating the child and ensuring his safe return.
Members of the public with information are urged to contact Captain David Hlatshwayo on 076 451 5495. Alternatively, tip-offs can be shared anonymously via the SAPS Crime Stop line on 08600 10111 or through the MYSAPS mobile application.
“All information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Callers may remain anonymous,” said police spokesperson Brigadier Selvy Mohlala, appealing to communities around Masoyi and neighbouring areas to assist.
The disappearance of Nkosingiphile has left his family and the wider community deeply distressed. SAPS continues to deploy resources on the ground, with officers conducting follow-ups and searches in the surrounding areas.
The police are urging residents to stay alert, check their premises thoroughly—especially unused buildings, storerooms, and outdoor spaces—and report anything suspicious.
As the search continues, the SAPS remains hopeful that with the help of the public, Nkosingiphile will be found and safely reunited with his family.
