The family of 15-year-old Bontle Mashile from Ratanang Village, Acornhoek, Mpumalanga, is pleading with the public for assistance in locating their daughter, who has been missing since 5 July 2025.

Bontle was last seen in Ga-Mthethwa (Casteel) on her way to visit relatives in Casteel Village during the school holidays. According to the family, Bontle never arrived at her intended destination and has not been seen or heard from since. She did not have a phone with her, making communication impossible.

A learner at Ben Matloshe Secondary School, Bontle’s sudden disappearance has left her loved ones deeply concerned for her safety.

The family urges anyone who may have seen Bontle or who has information about her whereabouts to come forward.
