Triple Murder at Tavern Probed

Police in Tweefontein are investigating the brutal shooting of three men at a tavern in Tweefontein on Sunday night. According to Colonel Donald Mdhluli, two armed suspects entered the tavern around 10:30 pm and opened fire indiscriminately with high-calibre firearms.

The victims, aged 36, 43 and 50, sustained serious gunshot wounds and were certified dead at the scene by paramedics. Their identities have not yet been formally released pending family notification.

Colonel Donald Mdhluli said the motive for the triple murder remains unknown at this stage. “So far no one has been arrested as yet,” he stated. However, a specialized investigative team has been assembled to track down the suspects through a 72-hour mobilization plan.

“Police are investigating three counts of murder,” Mdhluli said. “The SAPS management has vowed that the perpetrators will be hunted down and swiftly brought to book.”

The shooting has been strongly condemned by provincial authorities, who are urging anyone with information about the suspects or incident to contact police on 08600 10111 or via the MySAPSApp tip line. All information will be treated confidentially.

This chilling attack at a local tavern has left the Tweefontein community reeling. As the intensive manhunt continues, citizens eagerly await justice for the three victims coldly gunned down in this seemingly senseless act of violence.
