The ANC’s Cde Muhammad has emerged victorious in the Bushbuckridge Ward 3 by-
election. Out of 3,209 total votes cast, Muhammad garnered 2,100 votes. The EFF
came in second with 1,010 votes.

The Patriotic Alliance received 36 votes. 63 ballots were spoiled.

The by-election saw a decisive win for the ANC, with Muhammad securing nearly 66%
of the vote. The EFF obtained 31% support.

Ward 3 residents have entrusted Muhammad to represent their interests and needs on
the Bushbuckridge council going forward.
