Another GladAfrica Championship  head coach has been sacked. TS Sporting have sensationally parted ways with Kabelo Sibiya, this comes less than a week remaining before the start of the season. Sporting showed Sibiya the exit door following a brief meeting in Nelspruit, recently.

Abafana Bomthetho are expected to announce their new coach within the next 24 hours, according to sources close to the club.

“The club has parted ways with their coach. It’s just unfortunate this happened less than a week before the start of the new season. They are set to announce the new coach today,” a source told a national publication.

Sibiya has since confirmed his departure and is the second coach to be shown the door this month after Richards Bay sacked Allan Freese.

“Yes, it’s true (that we parted ways with TS Sporting). But I wouldn’t want to discuss this matter with the media,” said Sibiya.
